La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Spokane Downtown

We liked that it was right off the highway, and gated with lots of security cameras. The front desk staff was kind and helpful to us. Our room was pretty clean and well appointed with amenities we always use. I’m not a breakfast eater but hubby is and it was nice that he could grab some food before we had to get on the road again. We’re on a cross country trip and could only stay one night but would have happily stayed more as we’d have loved to use the pool and hot tub! Thank you for a wonderful and comfortable stay! We have stayed at this property three times in the last six weeks, on weekends. We have found it to be comfortable and a great value for the reasonable cost. Free parking, close to downtown and to the freeway, and very quiet inside. The hot breakfast offered was extensive, with great nutritious choices. Having it available 'til ten on the weekends is very appreciated. Coffee is good and available in the lobby 24/7 as well as single-cup in the rooms. Beds are comfortable, and rooms are well equipped.

The room was spacious and the breakfast was very good. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The security was good. There were alot of homeless people in the area and we felt very secure on the property.

It was just for a layover after a long long drive by myself. I've stayed at other La Quintas and always been pleased, although sometimes I need to find more affordable options. The rate for this LQ was very reasonable, and once I drove into the neighbourhood I understand why. It's in a bit of a sketchy neighbourhood, although the hotel has great curb appeal and there's the terrific Dick's Drive-In just half a block away (unfortunately it was closed by the time I arrived - sad emoji!) ... The clerk was very personable and helpful, made check-in a breeze. The room was clean and comfortable. In the morning the breakfast was terrific. This is a great deal.

I had asked for a walk-in shower but they didn't have one available. But they did give me a bath with grab bars and a shower chair. So thank you! Also, the tiles are non-slip on the floors! Very important for someone with physical problems. And of course, breakfast was great.
